The best Total War Remastered mods were likely to see Steam Workshop when they launched. This is a good thing because work on adding new features and expanding upon the existing ones has already begun.

While it isn’t the pretty multiplayer campaign that fans have been requesting since Rome Remastered was revealed, the Hotseat mod allows you to play with a friend either on the same computer or via email. While you can play as any faction, you can’t engage in real-time combat against each other. It takes some effort to get things moving, but it’s something that many players are willing to make in the absence of a co-op campaign. Get it from Nexus s.

Another Rome Remastered mod adds naval combat to its Barbarian Invasion expansion. You can currently only play them on four maps created by the mod. However, each faction receives its list of ships. It can be found on Nexus Mods.
Total Conquest 3q66n
The Total Conquest mod adds 41 new provinces to Gaul, Britannia, and Illyria. Iberia, Africas, Asia Minor, and Asia Minor. A unified Roman Empire is also available, instead of four factions. The game now features two new factions, the Achaean League and Epirus, and several gameplay tweaks for the Greek City-States. It can be found on Nexus Mods.

The remaster didn’t include Wonder videos, which was disappointing for players who wanted to experience the whole Rome experience. A mod has been released that reformats and scales the original wonders videos to allow them to be used in Creative Assembly’s latest title. It’s available on Nexus Mods.
